I started to work on the car this weekend. The front suspension is going to be stock for now, upgraded with poly bushings, new springs and shocks (perhaps coil-overs), C5 brakes .

I am currently working on the rear end. A gen.4 axle with 4-link and coil-overs. The wheels are OZ-racing (Futura Split) with 315/35 BFG.

I love it, keep up the work. I have a 73 camaro so I will probably be stealing any cool ideas you have for your car considering that they are so much the same.

Some updates...

Almost all rust has been taken care of, replaced with new sheet metal.

The roll cage is almost in there. I had to add some longer bars to the rear of the cage because I wanted the roll cage to go all the way to the back of the car. The door bars and the bars to the front, that will mount to the subframe are still left to do. I am also going to weld in bars to support the rear coil-overs. I will use as long dampers as possible.

Now the car is resting outside the garage in the snow...
