Default Finally the Test Run

Well here is the Mini book...

So I leave today before dawn, to a set of Cloverleafs that I hand picked.

The car rides smooth in the smooth areas on the road, and a little rough where the road is bad..

Where are more Gears ??? Oh, I don't have them.. 4000 RPM , all the way to the Leafs....

Oh boy, i go over, and over, and over, and over... Drifting it out , on the one turn that has no4 foot concrete barriers, and at the edge and throttle controlled on the other turns..

After a while, it is WOT between the turns, hard straight line braking at the outside of the apex, and then throttle on through the turn.. i got the KDW's to talk to me...

All you could smell is rubber...

I stop to adjust the timing... Sure Mike V , the layman, trying to adjust Steve's work at East Bay Muscle Car..:willy Well, I set it back to his setting...No harm, no foul, the ping told me I was wrong...

Then I go pick up a Muscle car buddy.. He is blown away at the car...just wait.

We go back to the leafs, and he is saying " no way, we can't go that fast "...

Yet i drive into the turns, as Hot as I can, straight line Braking at the outside edge, and dive into the turns, with the throttle on..Reminding you that although i have new steering, and suspension, and Brakes, i am still muscling the Vintage M-21 in and outta the turns..

I get to where we are WOT on the straights and on the edge into, through, and out of the turns...The one without the concrete got more throttle and oversteer...

Rubber smells everywhere... Fun Factor 10.....

OK ..then on the way home, a Dude in a New Charger, not an SRT, is beeping his horn at me mouthing , "do i want some ? ", and pointing with ,get this, black leather driving gloves....

He taunts me with his hand out the window..We are at 70MPH...I don't street race.

A lifetime of wealth, and the good life will not be blown on one illegal race.

But I found it funny, I just drove at the edge over, and over, and over, and over, and over, at the limit, Bare handed..haha.....Holding on to my Momo Race wheels, which by the way, is a perfect choice..

spent 40 dollars on gas, but since i own oil stocks, i paid for my carnival ride...

Post inspection, no leaks, no problems.. Steve Keefer, you are the " Man "

Great work..

The down side ? Interior rattles, bad pavement is not it's friend, and I broke the hand crank on the window when I got home...

So, Braking, steering and cornering went great, over, and over, and over...

Maybe there is more out of the Timing, but not by twisting the distributor..

And I need more gears...

But if you can muscle the Muncie, the car is at home in the turns and on the short straights WOT...

Next Sunday will be a standing start 3500 rpm Launch...The braking and Cornering tests are done for now..

I did get it to understeer/plow, and to oversteer... Just testing the limits..

Man, was that fun.. I smell like gasoline and rubber...
