James,
If the vehicle has 1972 or older front and backend in appearance and to the normal guy it appears to be a 1972 or older car it will be at the event and able to run, get awards and enjoy all parts of a Goodguys event.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks Ed I appreciate the update as we want to compete at events with the new 1973 Yellow "WarPath Project " Trans Am build this summer and frankly I was concerned about that option up until this announcement...
