Update...

The car was at a local shop when it was stolen sometime between 9:00 PM, on March 1, and 7:00 AM yesterday morning. It looks like it was targeted.

Intocarss, yes, please post it on YellowBullet. I'm not a member over there.

Thanks Jody for putting it on the top. And thanks everyone for your support.

It's not even my car and I couldn't sleep last night.

I'll post new info as it becomes available.

Considering the lack of attention this will most likely get with local law enforcement, depending on the value which looks to be high, would hiring a private investigator be worth while?

Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.

I'm starting to think someone is targeting 65 Chevelles. This is the 2nd 65 Chevelle stolen in the last month or so. http://visalia.craigslist.org/pts/2817741644.html

It's not just Chevelles, it's any classic. Anything from a 32 Ford to a second gen Camaro. I wish this country was like those third world countries and cut your f#@king hands off if you stole something and get caught. I know these are harsh words, but then again, I'm no thief, so it doesn't apply to me. Moreso than hoping this vile piece of $hit is caught, I hope the car is found. Rather the thief leaves it in a parking lot or whever. Just so long as the owner gets it back.
