I do blown multiport EFI setups with FAST XFI systems. At this point in the game most of your major systems have very similar functionality and it really comes down to who is doing the build and how well they know how to tune their systems.

I'm partial to FAST because I've been using them for years and know the intricacies. Plus they sell their harnesses unterminated so I can wire everything to look like it was born that way instead of having to cut a harness apart and rewire everything. My only wish is that someday they go to a dual wideband 02 setup because diagnostically i've been burned by only having a single and trying to trace down a fault on the opposite side.

Bigstuff has dual 02 capability but last I checked they didn't sell unterminated harneses. Heard great things about their functionality and I've been told that the guy who developed Bigstuff developed the original FAST systems years ago so this in theory shoudl be an evolution.

You've got SupremeEFI here that deals with Accel and obviously knows it well.

If you have a shop that doesn't get your engine combo right, or doesn't know how to setup and tune your EFI it won't matter what brand you buy.

482ci FE, V7, intercooled with FAST XFI

I agree with most of what you said Revved. But as you can see I'm pretty proficient on the FAST stuff too and I have to say, I'm not very impressed on their available cal tables that effect drivability, even in the 2.0 version.

If you have the wrong parts then that most certainly will effect the end result. But when you have insufficient fueling tables for your application that just makes a difficult tune even more difficult.

You definately know your stuff... I've got to say I'm pretty damn impressed at how may people I've read that you've fixed tune programs for them without even seeing the car! I can't say I'd ever try that. I'm good but I'm not that good. True.. the FAST fueling tables are pretty basic- but it also makes it easier for beginners to get a good rought tune but has the adjustability for a more experienced tuner to dial it in very well. The majority of the FAST tuning I've done has been pretty basic on high horsepower N/A street cars and and I've only been getting into the bigger cube blower motors in the last two or three years but I can't say I've run into a problem with a FAST system that I couldn't fix with what was there.

I can say that I've run into plenty of cars that have had high dollar systems.. FAST, ACCEL, and otherwise that have come out of shops that had no business plugging into them and cost the client thousands of needless dollars and untold amounts of frustration. My main point being that I'd rather see a shop properly tune any quality system on any car than improperly tune the "best system on the market."

I'm assuming the additional functionality you are describing is in the ACCEL systems. I've only had limited exposure to them and maybe there is something more that I am missing out on. Someday when I'm out in your area I'll swing by and you can show me the additional functionality you are describing and maybe I'll be a convert.

A Holley HP would easily suit your needs. Dominator would be overkill but, both systems offer excellent tuning ability along with alot of added features with a great price point.
