Default 12 bolt rebuild

I recently ordered a new ring and pinion, carbon fiber clutches and new springs for my Eaton posi 12 bolt rear end. I had already bought new Moser axles some time ago. I decided to buy new c-clips for the axles. When I received the new c-clips, I noticed they were copper. Are these sufficient enough for a performance oriented 67 Camaro?

Are you sure they are copper? I suspect they are gold colored hardend steel. Test them with a magnet. You really should consider a C-Clip Eliminator kit.

I have since found out they are not copper. I did not think of using the magnet test. Thanks for the tip
