I let Gwen run the car -- but it's too much car for her....

She got to ride along in a Miata with one of the guys that runs here all the time --- and sadly -- in Red group -- I lapped them.
Nice that you both enjoy trackin'.

There both turn 5 bud, only one is the bypass(bypassing the cyclone) and the other is the cyclone. Sounds like you ran cyclone configuration.

Great job! 2:12 is respectable considering the amount of wheel time you've had.

Talked to Dave and he said he had a great time with you guy's.

NCRC will be running bypass on July 1st. Think you can make that one?

First time is understandable, hopefully it didn't put too much fear in her.

Did she go on ride alongs afterwards?

Can't scare her right now, must get her acclimated for the future.

Were you satisfied with your overall performance?

If anyone (like me) is trying to negotiate that line between street car and race car, don't go see Greg's Mustang. Unlike 99% of dedicated track cars out there, this one is so much cleaner and I was surprised at just how much the pics don't do it justice. Nice gaps (yeah, I said it Renner) and function AND form was factored in on this build. It's short of license plates and wipers from being one of the nicer cars to show up at our "pro touring" events or gatherings. My drive home was spent seeing which ways I might duplicate the systems in this car. Thanks Greg.... d!ck.

Oh, and nice driving too Greg. Not too shabby. Got a 2:10 in ya tmrw?

Oh, and to steal your line you used on Mike P today..... it was your pleasure to have been graced with my presence there today.

Thanks Dave...... I think....

I was really glad a couple Lat G guys dropped by yesterday. Makes me think I'm at home.

Trust me -- spending the weekend with Charley is enough to make feel like I want to go home!

I don't know about 2:10's... if they're there they're there. I think I'd likely have a better chance at that in Green group where I wasn't always trying to get by someone?

First time I've been to a track day where I didn't have my car there. Thought I'd not enjoy it nearly as much, and while I wish I had my car there, I had a great time and the environment is just tough to beat, even if it was just a few of us. Good times...

Charley is a real hoot. Which car did he bring out today? He wasn't too happy with that janky exhaust mod from yesterday....

Thanks Greg, Charlie and friends for letting me hang out. VERY NICE car Greg. Enjoyed your company, and your driving. Look forward to seeing you guys run again. Hopefully I can get to a happy medium of needed safety items, and keep it safe on the street for my kids to enjoy too, and join you guys soon.

I drove the same 66 Shelby again on Sunday but only for one session. The exhaust mod at the track to make it pass sound made it run like crap. It did make sound though. now the search for a system that is quiet without killing too much power. The good news is Greg only got 1 black flag...
