Hey thanks 67goatman455 ... my motivation comes from wanting to drive my Camaro I am realistic and know not everything will work the first time and that's hot rodding, but I'll do my best to minimize the down time by doing it right the first time.

Got the cowl finished today and I thought maybe I'd be able to spray epoxy later but the wind is kicking and it's spitting again ... maybe tomorrow.

Little finish work left.

I still need to weld the OEM brackets and wiring hold downs to the new cowl, it's always something huh

There is always a first for everything right?

Got everything prepped for some epoxy this morning and as I got ready the heat increased, man it's gotta be 90 out right now, but the epoxy laid down nice. It's a milestone to get some parts in epoxy, it's gonna be cool to see the body ready for primer
The cowl was a PITA to sand the inside, so much that I cut my arm and was bleeding all over the cowl, then I had to clean all the spots of blood off But the cowl came out great and looks nice on the car ... just gotta keep going.

Gotta ding that needs filling, no biggy!

I think I'm gonna POR my water pump in the laundry room and stay cool ... too hot in the garage!

in the garage with the DeWalt discing some of the interior panels. Between the garage being around 90 degrees and the smell of lacquer thinner to clean the undercoating I was starting to hallucinate, so only a couple hours stay time.


Getting ready for epoxy.

Rust on the inside of the quarter

Got both sides down to metal.

The inside of the quarter panel has rust issues and I'm not sure how to take care of that ( I really don't want to do full quarters) ... the more I dig the more rust I find
Think I'm gonna have to invest in a sand blaster ... suggestions?
