Here is a small update... We had to go back to the drawing board on the sub-frame rails & re-design them.. but now everything is looking good.. the rack n pinion has clearance for the steering shaft... We have motor mounts for LS engine.. The frame rails were to narrow... so we opened them up one inch per side... & the main reason for a re-design on the frame rails was to optimize the fabrication of the frame rails .. we cut our fab & assembly time down to 50%...

Thanks Marty! Currently my plate is full here @ the shop.. I have a SEMA build going on & a car that I am getting ready for Optima Street car Challenge.. SO this 69 is moving .. but not @ the pace we would have liked.. But after SEMA we will be full steam ahead on this one..

I figued I would share some pics of how my sub-frame comes together.. This thing interlocks in so many ways .. did lots of tig welding today!
