Wayne, I'm not sure if you tried to call or not, but also sorry I missed you there yesterday. I got there early and took off early to head back south to stop by HRE. Hopefully we have time to meet up another time,

Matt

p.s. Rob, sorry for hijacking your thread.

No worries I'm gonna owe you big time when you hook me up with those GT seats.

Phil and Chris sent me some progress pics.

This is my dirty old 390 sitting in the chassis but dimensionally it's identical to my AL Pond side oiler. It's sitting nice and low and back thanks to that shiney low profile Dailey dry sump.
The Wilwood 4 piston calipers and 14" rotors will look better when they are bolted to that Speedway mod-lite floater.
It's getting closer.

Looks sick Dog. Do the frame rails extend out to the rockers on your love boat?

The frame rails do extend all the way out to both port and starboard rocker panels.

The design of the floor allowed us to give the car/boat a wide platform with out a lot of modification to the original floor. We are going to be making mounts to tie in a roll cage to the frame rails as well which will give it much more strength than just going to the floor.

I think I'll paint it. Probably just satin black.

I live on the coast for a reason. A boat make sense for a waterbound creature such as myself. My gills would dry out if I was inland like you guys

I have a Mansion and a Yatch
