Wow, the motor looks pretty high? I have the LS in my P1800 build, and it is actually lower than the original B18 4cylinder, and the factory LS oil pan is still above the body rockers. Do you have it that high for a reason?

high in relation to the body, maybe,
high off the crossmember no,
high in terms of centre of gravity, nope...

I have changed more than just the engine, keep stopping by for updates!

that will be tight with turbos! twin or single? i think you need the fbody set up as that puts the alternater down low and the ac is low on pass side, are you running the f body oilpan too?

two turbo's, I have a few diagrams of the front accessory drives to measure it out to see what will fit; thanks for the tip on the fbody setup!
and yes I will be running the f-body oil pan.

I have some other work to do on the engine, more pics when I can.

Default stretch

lots of engine work right now and still stretching the body, its taking a bit of time but I want to make sure it flows nicely when its all finished.

This is before modifying the original panel:

and first attempt at the arches:

And now... Top of the rear quarter looking toward the back of the car with rough alignment:

The transition is starting to look better:

And the wheel clearance, wheels are about 2" below ride height in this image.

I am waiting for parts so I can put some time in over the holidays.

One more

Thanks for looking!

Default 6 speed'ed'

T56 6 speed from a CTS-V

I have a few options for drive shafts but for now I have converted the 3 spline output shaft to a 1350 flange yoke.

Showing half of the trans tunnel installed for clearance

Happy Happy, but its feeling like Turbo Time
