Hopefully next season I'll get it out. I'm headed to Road Atlanta this weekend, only doing a Hyperdrive because I'll be in a "Hertz" special and I've never driven RA before. NASA southeast has a class that I want to run in called Outlaw Vintage, I'm hoping to meet a few of the guys while I'm down there and possibly start something like that in the Mid Atlantic region. The rules are simple, 4 classes for power to weight ratio, car must be 30 years or older, and the drivetrain must be the same manufacturer as the car, ie. no LS1 powered Datsan 240's. LS9 powered 1st camaros are welcome though!

Went for a Sunday Drive! well, sorta... Drove it out of the the garage under its own power for the first time in 9 years! Need to adjust the front end alignment (I guess suspension hanging on jackstand eyeball alignment isnt' that accurate) But the brakes worked! the Clutch worked! and the engine worked! Still don't have a gas pedal and linkage hooked up, so I had to move her under idle, but still better than pushing! Here's a video of it outside in the daylight!

I plan on getting the car back in drivable condition and then flog on it for a while to make sure it's like I want it. Then pull the subframe and motor back out to clean it all up and refresh it, then off to paint. I'll be doing a lot of Auto X and some track days at VIR with it before I determine its worthy of paint. Stay Tuned, I'll post more often now that I'm actually making progress.

What are the dimensions of the rear exhaust openings on the rear looks sweet

They are the pockets for the Rally sport back up lights, not exhaust ports. Would be cool if it exited there, but the gas tank is in the way,

hooked up some gauges today so I can monitor the car from inside. Tach, oil press, and voltage is working great! need to get an adaptor to get a good water temp reading, but for now I can read it from the diablo sport. Making progress, one day at a time!

Disclaimer... Car is not running in this photo!

got some new sheetmetal yesterday to try and get the radiator support figured out. More parts on the way from the brown truck Santa, but heres the start of the Christmas break rush.

Who knew? buying a part for an American car, that was built in Asia would take some American engineering to make American made parts to fit it into an American car?

Installed and ready to mock up the intake ducting,

picked up a radiator support from the junkyard that I think might work, it's from a 6 cyl Camaro.

Raditor support with my SLP lid installed, getting closer. I need to drop the Radiator about an Inch to make it perfect but I'm getting closer!
