He is more than just a little excited about that aspect of hot rodding. He worked and raised a family etc all his life -- and doing a couple "road trips" with me has exposed him to a whole new way of life. He's anxious - and willing - to build a car with the Ironworks exceptional chassis - an LS motor etc that will carry him on new adventures in comfort and style.

He was sold (he sold himself!) on this build via ONE ride in another '57 with an Ironworks chassis. He couldn't believe how well the car rode with 4 X 200 pound plus guys in it... and it didn't scrape bottom going into driveways... and it sits so low (bad azz!) etc. That was it! He had to have one!

It will be fun to see this one come together... and it's a perfect project for him. The heavy lifting/building is done and it's just a matter of doing the finish work. My problem has already begun - which is to hold him to the "driver" build... because to say he's a perfectionist is an understatement.
