i have to say the BeCool building quality aint the best ive seen.. think this radiator did cost 1800dollars and both sides of the top of the radiator are differend and the other ones looks like child has weld it. We need to re do it!! Under the aluminum top they have saw the sell extreamly rawly. First and Last BeCool radiator for me

Nicely done so far! Looking good!

Regarding that BeCool radiator, was that a custom build or is that a factory fit item? I would agree that the issues you pointed out are....well...issues. I would send them a picture and ask if that's representative of their usual level of workmanship.

If you weren't in Finland I'm betting that thing would be going back.

The build looks awsome and im doing a 68 Chevelle SS

I was going to go with the BeCool but decided for a couple more dollars I opted for the AutoRad radiator, core support and radiator, fan shroud set up and I may say craftmanship is first to none even though the lead time was 12 weeks well worth the wait love it and would never get any other radiator. Good luck with the build

exthose system point welded and just trying to re-locating the turbos.. the stainless steel works SBC turboheaders had some falls , bolt pattern did not fit = did make new flanges to the heads. the primaries contact to valve covers and alternator and powersteering unit= we had to re-done the most of the headers.

What does an $1800 radiator do for you besides cooling?

Well, for $1800.00 the unit should look like an artist constructed it, and you would be proud to show it to your friends. It should be well built.
For this reason, I stopped buying C&R. Their quality several years ago went away, and they started using oil coolers from another supplier (other than Delphi). Their top management split up, and started another company (Saldana), which produced a great, high quality product for our race cars. I've been told the quality came back eventually.
Bottom line is this: there are too many choices today for the enthusiast, or racer, to have to put up with a poorly built coiling unit.
...take your wife out for dinner...good one!
