Strange, that's a lot different than the other pics I've seen on the net. I thought it would look like the one on the right in the following pic(the standard one is on the left):



And here's a pic of the rear seal on a Viper-spec T56. You can see the metal lip(red):



They look much different than the one you provided a pic of. Are you sure that's the new one?
