The Magnum kit from American Powertrain comes with their adapter plate. Their paper work and install instructions ask for bell runout but say nothing about TO clearances. I know the installer is going to tell me to stick it so I need to know what responsibilities they have.

Would you say that TO clearance measures are something that an installer would as a default, always perform?

There are a couple of youtube videos out there that detail exactly what has to be checked. You could watch and familiarize with the lingo (it's a lot of stuff to look at/verify), Help you to fight back with the knowledge of what "should" have been done. Probably gonna take a third party mechanic to look at it and verify what was done wrong.

Right on...I will check out some vids. If anyone else has some experience with T-56 with similar issue, please let me know what resolved it.

Thanks to all for your input...I was on the fence about installing myself and now I know I should have...this is ridiculous.
