Got it! Thanks a lot for telling me about your front sub LOL. I was always planning on dropping my current front clip under the 57' truck. I think you just sped up the timeline considerably.

Not sure on a one stop source for everything. Your situation kind of changes things really. The only thing I can think would be to research everything needed and get the miscellaneous parts ordered from you favorite vendor. Putting an LT T56 behind a two piece gen 1 SBC is nothing new. Nastyz28.com I bet has a guide for doing the conversion.

Let me know if you go the LT t-56. I have a Centerforce flywheel I bought exactly for this application that I never used. It has never been installed--but it has a lot of surface rust from sitting around the last 15 years.

Looks like I got the LT1 T56. It came with the conversion flywheel so I wont need one, thanks though. Hopefully it holds up! Thanks again everyone for the help. Im sure there will be plenty more questions lol
