A 4.3 V6 twin turbo Corvair for a fun car or a 60's lincon Continental vert for a cruzer. YOu know the ones with suiside rear doors.

If my bird gets done(never). I was thinking of a 75 chevy step side pick up. My grandfather had one and I remember riding in it with him.

1973 Datsun 240z, kinda like what Boodlefoof is building, but a little more subtle. Ideally (if I had enough money to pull out of my a**) I would drop the body on a C6 frame, have Tom Nelson build me up a nice TT engine, throw in a T56 or shrifter kit, and make it the ultimate street fighter. Barely any interior except for guages and a radio. Those little cars are awesome.

A Model A Ford 2-door sedan- a true hot rod. Chopped & channeled, with some ancient V-8 with too many carbs...wide whitewall slicks, no fenders, and tons of attitude. I've never built anything older than 1950, and I need to.

I can't be the hot rodder I want to be until I build a genuine hot rod.

itll be years before my darts done, but a 76 plymouth Arrow with a new hemi (5.7 or 6.1) would be awsome. i never really looked at any late 70s cars as cool, but as of late they become more interesting. the Arrow like other compacts of the 70s are rearwheel drive 4 bangers not frontwheel drive like i thought. V8s have been swapped into these little things for years. theres actually more room in the enginebay then in my dart. itd be cool to see one updated to handle better. a year ago i wouldnt have look at one of these cars, but now i think the vegas, pintos, colts and arrows would be fun to do.

I try to dream up cool none Camaro Pro Touring projects everyday so I will be watching this thread. Being in the muscle car business for 25 years now, and having been in the business when these cars were cheap, when i did all stock restorations. In 1988 / 89 I had the most popular car I ever had bar none, a 68 Shelby GT500KR convertible, Red / Black guts. I lived in Daytona Beach at the time and was in my mid 20s. Spring Break, we would cruise the strip and girls would come up to the car and tell Lisa it was their turn, LOL! And it wasn't because I was mister handsome! needless to say, things were better around the house if i left the car at home during these events, unless Lisa was riding shotgun!

So, I really want to do a Pro Touring GT500PT. I'll keep the details to my self. but as much as I do not particularly love red, this one may be red.

And yes, I kick myself in the ass everyday for taking a nice profit, selling that car for $28k since I had only paid $14K 2 years before. It sucks to know that car may approach the half million dollar mark today!
