September will probably turn in to early October, around Bathurst 1000 time. Will seem like forever.

Hybrid/Electric cars make up about 1% of new car sales here. I think that due to the longer distances we tend to drive here that they are disadvantaged, plus the higher buying price. I think some of the newer technology that increases range will make a difference. Also now they compete with a large range of very fuel efficient cars, the running costs are not as significant as previous.

From memory I think V8s were about 20% of all Commodore sales.

Thanks - I didn't think the Aussie consumer would be as gullible as the American.

The hybrids have real possibility but currently the range/price shortcomings are a major handicap.

I assume you'll be at Bathurst!?

Have just been advised delivery date of September 16 for the GTS

Here are some pics of a red one I found today (not mine), mine will have the "Super-Flow Performance Spoiler" (really that is what they called it), http://www.hsv.com.au/Gen-F/see/GTS/

I think I will change yellow badging to same colour as rims?

I love the look of that car. Only problem I see is, the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Looks good! Maybe delete the badging altogether?

Plenty of room for a baby seat though
