It sure beats those B/W photos with the rose highlighted in color. That would go above my mantle!!!!

You have no idea how lucky you are to have a wife that's into cars too. That's a dream come true for many of us! Good luck and congrats again!

It will be. We're getting it in 8 x 10 it will be framed and hung up somewhere.

It was Jenna's idea (with some subtle hinting from me )

Until we have kids, you're probably right

Derek...you're dead on with the kids. When they show up...look out!

Your whole world changes. But I doubt your wife will be hinting at selling your car to buy childrens furniture and toys and clothes.

My wife's had the cross-hairs on my car since we got back from the honeymoon 9 years ago.

Once the kids come, the Chevelle will be collecting a LOT of dust. Since my daughter was born last July I've probably worked on my car a total of about 20-24 hours MAX. At this rate I'll still be working on it when she goes to college!

Best advice I can give you is do absolutely everything you can on the project now...though your wife seems a heck of a lot more understanding than mine.

She really wants a firebird, but on the way home from Chevell-abration, she suggested that she'd like a '64-67 Chevelle wagon so we could still go to Chevell-abration and the ACES Regionals when we have kids ...now I just need to find a car in our price-range real soon before she forgets it was her idea

Man Law #3,942: If the Mrs. gives permission to aquire an item, said item must be purchased within 72 hours.

Addendum #1: A man must always have said item researched and know where the item can be aquired before the persmission can be asked.

Addendum #2: If item is not found before permission is given, one is allowed to skip work, church, sleep..etc. to find said item in the quickest time allotted. Because we know what man law #2,394 says, women tend to remember NOT giving permission after a certain period of time has passed (see Woman law guide book for this time period).

Man Law#3,943: If one should purchase something for himself without the permission of the Mrs. The man is forced to keep acquired item out of sight for a minimum of 48 hours, as so when the Mrs. asks, "i havent seen those before"... the man can simply reply, "Oh those old things? had them since i can remember"... since that is generally true, we cannot remember past 3 to 4 days. Hence not a lie.

The man law is written.

When my fiance saw the picture she asked me to save it as our computer wallpaper. We are getting married in October. I am one step closer to driving away from our wedding in the Nova. Thanks!!
