How wide are the tires in the back?
And the spacing between the rear hubs?
Is the late model Camaro IRS narrowed? If so it looks like you will need shortened half-shafts.

I'm asking because my next project is a Volvo P1800S.
I love to see what others are doing for ideas.

Keep the photos coming.
The third member is late Camaro (unmodified), but the suspension is all C6 Corvette with the cradle narrowed 13.5 inches. The rear spacing is 48 inches hub-to-hub, and the rear tires are 315's (12.4 in. wide). The axle shafts with CV joints were custom built by The Driveshaft Shop to use the Corvette outer hubs and the Camaro stub axles.

Me too, could we get this thread on their club site somehow

I don't think that you need to try very hard.

Ping Robert who is building the Volvo 1800 and the Amazon. He has his two builds posted on Volvo forums, even some in Europe, where his efforts are trashed.

Just sit back and watch, this build will make it to Jaguar forums and be trashed.

Default Update

A couple of progress photos. The 200 mph GPS speedometer is pretty cool -- lots of functions like 0-60 timing and recall.
