We have done a lot more than make the body ready for paint, A few custom items and added suspension to name a couple. At this time we have around 600 hours in it.

I have had questions wanting to know what issue this would be in and I'm happy to say it's in the March issue that just went to the printers.

This is what Brian has been fabricating. It is an under the dash hood release. The hood required a lot of fabrication along with this latch that came off of another Ford. To find out all the details you will have to read the build story in an upcoming issue of Modified Mustangs & Fords magazine.

The engine came in a couple of weeks ago

We had to change the motor mounts to Ron Morris adjustable to clear the hood.

It runs on pump gas and makes 502HP @5900 and 533 ftlbs torque @3600. Click to see the video.

Not sure what these bodies cost -- but 600 hours of prep / repair -- to make the body perfect seems like a pretty decent deal to me.

At least you know what you're getting! How many people have bought complete - nice looking cars and then found a nightmare under the shiny paint...

Cool

Been following this build too ... your work ethics are great! I have some SPI epoxy that I need to get sprayed real soon ... need to borrow a rotisserie to get access to the bottom.

Looking good fer sure! You putting Lizard Skin on the underside of the car or the inside?

Michael
