Greg,Your 33 is turning out perfect. The color is spot on for that type of car, Very Classic. So many go over board with crazy color's and wild interior's.I like it.Couldn't fit in it,but I like it.May be when it's a little older, Rodger and I could try and fit in it at the same time.???

Thanks Scott!

Have you seen the pic of Charley on the CrazyCart?? LOL

I started out with the "hope" to build a traditional hot rod but, sometimes, to me, "traditional" looks wimpy and fragile… I wanted a timeless traditional that looked like it has a little attitude… and that looked like it SHOULD BE on the road going somewhere.

My next project will be built by me… which is my normal mode… I just can't build a car and a house and do all of that at the same time while traveling all over the dang place. Hopefully once we get the house done -- I can auger in and have a project in the shed to bang on.

Car looks bitchin Greg. I like the finish on the wheels versus the polished hoops. Nice contrast. A question though- what finish is on the firewall and floors? Looks like some type of heat/sound barrier, but with a much finer texture.

It's just a flat black like DP90 or something similar. So in other words - it's just painted.

The inside of the firewall has Dynamat (their new black version) the toe boards are just painted.

Roy just called --- they're going to fire it off on Friday… wiring is all complete -- all the wheels are there now -- they're putting the doors on today… and the intake is painted and they're just waiting to get it back and install it. The grill is still at the chrome shop so it's MIA for the upholstery shop but it's not required so who cares.. HA.

All in all ---- "it's coming along nicely" (quoting Roy).

What a pleasure to do business with! OMG…

I'll be in San Jose all day on the 10th of December if anyone wants to get together… I'm flying in and will be there at 9AM -- Roy will pick me up and we'll go over to Sids --- that'll be a couple hours and we'll have some lunch… if any of you are interested in joining I'll treat and you can BS with Roy and Sid… Despite JCG thinking that's what groupies do --- I say it's awesome 'cause these guys have great stories to tell!
