Default Carpet

Getting ready to get started on interior carpet replacement and have the following ready to go in..

ACC Cut Pile molded carpet with the MASS backing option
Dynamat Extreme to cover complete interior

My questions is, do I still need another layer in between the Extreme and carpet?

If so, recommendations?

Had some delays getting mine installed but have it layed out in the spare room to relax back to shape from the box to get it installed this weekend. I went with the molded carpet, two piece design as I thought it would be easier to install (No knowledge in this area)......I ordered mine with the "Mass" backing option and the jute padding was already installed as well. I didn't know that till I opened up the box..lol

let us know how it goes...I am having a terrible time deciding on carpet. I just put a ls2/t56 in and kept shifter in original t56 location, im going with lokar boot/ring and no console, but im afraid that this is going to put boot right in the seam of the 2 piece design.

Colburn,
I have not had a chance to install the carpet yet. My wife is going through a difficult time right now and i have not had much time to work on the car. I apologize but will post if I am able to get to it this week...

Here is a photo of the carpet just laying in the car and not all cut in yet. It fits very nice in the pockets/floorboards.......This carpet has the matt backing and jute from ACC installed..
