Default Trunk mounted battery question

Guy's going to be mounting my battery in the trunk of my 69 camaro in a few days and had a quick question, what do most of you run your positive to, I mean i no it goes to the starter but what actually do you use, do you use like a bulk head connector and then run to the starter, i guess im saying like a junction box or something where your able to use this if you need my power for different things, i hope i made since. THANKS!

I used two through bulkhead connectors at the trunk to the underside of the car and ran the cables along the passenger side bottom of the car to the front. I used a 0 gauge un-fused cable from the trunk mounted solenoid to the starter, and a 4 gauge fused cable to the front to power everything else.

my camaro has an AAW system, and only the positive goes directly to the starter, I did run the negative to the front of the car also and I ground to the frame first and split it to the block and firewall from there to insure everything was well grounded

I want to do this to my Nova. I've read all sorts of wiring methods and do/dont's. Hard to get a clear picture of the simplest and safest way to get it done. Some are using a Ford solenoid somewhere in the equation, some are putting terminal blocks right at the battery and feeding accessories, others are feeding from under the hood, some are putting breakers at each end... everybody has a "right way" to do it....

One neat thing I saw in a Camaro Performers mag was a Moroso thru-connnecter. It enables you to route your pos. Thru interior and shoot it through the firewall toeboard close to starter. The beauty of it is that it keeps you from making sharp bends with the cable and prevents grounding out against anything.
