Welcome to Lat G!

Search the internet for the "Guldstrand mod"....

Get yourself a fiberglass mono rear leaf... or make sure your spring is the correct rate.

Dial in the CORRECT spring rate up front

Get some toe out not toe in - up front and get 3* of camber front and rear...

Get yourself a quicker ratio steering box

You didn't mention whether or not you're a road racer or an Auto crosser.... and that would determine your rear end gear ratio === so possibly a change there to make it more fitting to the track your running or driving you're doing etc.

Switch to a ligher weight flywheel and pressure plate/clutch set up for quicker rpms.

Car appears to be a '64 (disc brakes weren't standard until '65) -- so you might be running drums -- so change that out to the disc in the rear

Upgrade your Master Cylinder to a dual chamber 7/8" or 1" (depending on your preference for hard or softer pedal). The '64 had a single master cylinder.

Sorry it took me so long to get back on line, The car is a 66 AC/4 spd disc brake car that most likely had a 427 originally in it according to one of the old vette guys I showed it too.

I have a jeep cherokee box and I'm hoping to do that mod to it but not by next Sunday when I go autocrossing in the new SCCA SOLO CAM class they just came out with. I would like to try the goodguys autocross after I get it more sorted out.

I've already done a dual circuit master mod because the original scared the crap out of me when it went to the floor one day!

At one point it was drag raced and the rear end was triangulated with a center link to the bottom of the pumpkin. The 64 front end was grafted on I assume after what appears to have been a pretty serious case of track rash. Really the body is in pretty crappy shape but the birdcage is worse.

How do I get the 3" of camber?
