I see you got your TKO from American Power Train - any reason you you added the reinforcement plate over what they had? I'm not too familiar w/ the C2 firewall.

My 78 has sheet metal sandwiched with fiberglass, and it's pretty close to the pedal reinforcement box, which is bolted to the firewall and birdcage in two different spots.

Not quibbling - curious for my own learning and also nervous about whether or not I should do one.
