Then I'm emailing Charley about the color of the harness.....

RING RING -- Cell phone is going.... belly laughter on the other end so I know it's Charley.... Calling me to tell me what a dumbass newb I am....

Rodger probably was going to call but he had to go home and get clean shorts.... he probably laughed so hard...

True story buddy -- sad story, but true.

For the life of me I could not understand these ridiculous requirements!

Thanks for bringing that up again! Made for a good morning laugh! I probably would have done the same thing.

It was the semantics..... I swear!

I read the rules 5 times -- they never said "Green GROUP" or "Yellow GROUP"....
And I didn't even know about run groups at that time.

Regardless -- the story is true and I still laugh.

A few weeks later -- I walk in to Brizio's shop and the guy behind the counter is telling me how hard he laughed at this little 'snafu'... GD Charley had called them and spilled the beans. Just shoot me....

I know you guys think I don't do much.... but besides the brakes -- new tires -- it gets an oil change and filter after EVERY event....

This time I will also repack the inner and outer wheel bearings... and of course - nut and bolt everything I can get to.

Well you do have a pretty big garage with some cool tools in it so I figured you actually worked on your cars.
