I'm thinking he hasn't made it home yet. You know, stopping every 5 miles to get out the quick detailer.

SHOW TOURING FTW!

I know it's tough waiting Bro, but you'll get your turn to drive.

I can't hang around with guys that sit all day at car shows... just shoot me. That's like paradin' around at the mall with a super model -- when you should be home in the sack.
SO the car has 40 miles on it and you want me to go straight to the track?

The car was the belle of the ball at Super Car Sunday today, just my opinon and I might be biased. Dustin (SC Sunday organizer) wants to shoot it for Driven World magazine and I met a couple of members that recognized the car. Not bad for two hours. It's all about the people, right G-Dub?

Despite me giving you grief -- the car looks and sounds awesome... even if a Chihuahua is louder.
~ 93 db at idle. That was a loud, yappy freakin dog!

Dick and company did a buff and polish and the paint is pretty smooth. Not perfect, but good enough to ruin at the track

Man Sieg you don't miss a beat. Trans is a little notchy and the clutch engages about an 1/8" off the floor. Makes for some tough shifts. Not good, and I'll have to deal with it next weekend.

I wiped it down as soon as I got home

I'm a ProAssumer too

Possibly need a bleed on the clutch slave?

My T56 Mag was finicky the first 5 hundred miles, the next 1K miles could have been described as notchy, after 2.5K miles it's butter. I've ran Mobil 1 from day one.

If it doesn't show signs of improvement Trans/Bell/Crank alignment?

Good guess Sieg but I think I know exactly what it is (I could be worng, but I've been there before on another project). The way the Wilwwod pedals are fabbed in allows for no actuator rod adjustment, so I'll need to figure out a way to space out the throw out just a little bit. Sucks, but needs to be done.

On the fluid, I'm gonna keep running GM synchromesh and see if the break in helps

Ron, it would be way easier to build a new bracket for the brake and clutch sensor than to pull the transmission to shim the throw out.
