I didn't think it'd actually be released for public viewing, but I didn't know if it has been released to the police (if he had one). That IMO is either the nail in the coffin or the grease that let's him slip by.

I'm sure alot if that is just image, but most die hard racers have an ego that you couldn't contain in a warehouse. IMO That alone will keep him behind the wheel and racing.

I don't presume to know what Tony should or should not do, only he can answer that. But I do hope we see him get back behind the wheel of a race car. I have no doubt that the accident was just that an accident. I also agree that he will likely carry this with him for the rest of his life. I will wait for Tony to officially announce his decision and ignore all the speculation.

But if public perception ruled Nascar all the drivers would act like Jimmy Johnson, but it doesn't. Well as soon as something big happens in the real world with the Karrdashians or Justin Bieber, Tony can go back to racing, I would bet Tony was told by NASCAR not to race because Nascar has sold out is fan base to make auto racing appeal to everyone. Just like everything else has gone soft. No one can speak their mind or no one is ever to blame for their actions, there always has to be a way to prevent every accident.

The guy who owns Bass Pro shops is a fishing buddy of Tonys and I'm sure he will have no issue with a racing incident as he is a racer and knows these things happen every Saturday night.

Also have you noticed how little the Nascar reporters have covered the story? But when Denny Hamlin and Joey Lagono tagged last year that was all we heard about. NASCAR is waiting for the soccer mom storm to go back to racing.
