Cool Awesome Hood!

Man that is one gorgeous hood ... who is the manufacture? Did you guys flare the front fenders .... how much did you push it out?

Detailed pixs of the fender flaring would be great if you have any. The car is looking amazing, great work!

Looking great, Eugene. I really think I need to build a 69 bird to share the garage with my 79 next. This build is really pushing me in that direction.

That is a 69 trans am hood, it is a goodmark hood. We did not flare the fenders, I actually had to move the fenderwells slightly forward to get the wheels perfectly centered in the openings. A lot of work, but with the effort

Hey ya'll,

I got some more updates today. Been doing some more metal work and created some custom inner fender wells. Also finishing up the firewall. I've also been having some more metal working fun on the hood inserts. Originally these pieces were plastic, but I think metal looks better. Should be getting the chassis back from powder coat soon.

Nice fab work. The inner fenders look very nice. Have to agree that seeing the hood scoops in metal looks better and has more presence than plastic. This will be a very cool bird when done.
