I guess it's not too surprising the Viper won. They are pretty similar cars, but the Viper has a bigger motor.

What would be interesting to see is those two cars on a road course battling it out!

Either way, I'd still take a Vette. I worked next to a shop that built some of the baddest Vipers in the country, and I just never could get use to the sound of a 10 cylinder engine. Never sounded right to me!

I'd be shocked if the viper could even sniff the vette on a road course. Got a real close look at the vette during the phoenix auto show over thanksgiving. Zo6 is bad to the bone.

I'm not surprised either. People who are faithful to the good ole bowtie don't realize their are "other" cars out there. The Viper is definitely a purpose built car hence why they were rebadged as the SRT Viper. Not to mention they have considerable more Hp and Tq


EDIT....I didn't realize that was a Z06! I guess power is pretty close!
