Forgestar - I got a Black Friday special of $1100 for a set of 18 X 10 fronts and 18 X 12 rears. 7 week lead time. Very nice for the price. If they break I'll be the first to know then the guardrail will be the 2nd to know.

I need a one piece wheel to clear the 15 inch rotors and these do.

The Finspeeds have a better looking rear wheel with a deeper concave. These are still cool for the price.

The front are 18 X 10 with 6.125 backspacing so they do not need spacers.

The rears are 36 mm offset so I'll set axle width so no spacers.

Some updates:

As part of the rebuild, JA is getting all new wiring. Ryan started making the new engine/trans harness.

The interior will also be refurbished. The steel pipe on top of the trans tunnel is holding up the trans through the shifter opening using a nylon rachet strap.
The original trans crossmember was removed with the old subframe. A new crossmember (built into the floor) will be fabricated like was used on Hellfire.

I think I saw this trailer loading method before on History Channel Egyptian pyramid building episode.

Sled Alley will be fabricating the new trans crossmember, new radiator and intercooler and ECM mounts as well as relocating the drysump tank.
There's also a bunch of other stuff that I can't seem to remember

Is that a creeper underneath the front crossmember?
Whatever it is, that's a brave move.

Hey when I was ordering my wheels from jake at forgestar. Jake was super helpful. He worked with me and worked with me to get it right. He told me stielow was ordering wheels too. I thought he was a liar. Hahahaha. Guess not. The wheels were super cheap on the black Friday sale. especially for forged wheels. Kinda unheard of. I'm getting mine on Tuesday. I got the f14 super deep concave.

They are very nice wheels, especially for the cost, but they are not a true forged wheel. They're "rotary forged flow-formed.

The center of the wheel is essentially a cast wheel with hoop properties that are similar to a forged wheel. Stronger and lighter than traditional cast wheels.
