My first 67 had the standard SB350 in it and when it when BOOM in a big way I replaced it with another SB350. It was a lot of fun and I drove the car a lot, but I wished I would have gone the LS route.
My current build has an LS and I honestly think it's the way to go, especially if you are going to put a lot of miles on your car.
