Sorry, I meant comparing an Ultima GTR to a pony car or even a sports car. The Ultima was designed as a super car. With its aerodynamics and weight advantage it is much better suited for something like that Z2Z challenge. Also that fact that no one was able to go 200 mph makes the test kinda meaningless. How come their were only 7 entries for the Z2Z competition? No offense but that dosent seem like a serious competition to me.

I would say that with the exception of the Mini, that is a pretty serious competetion. Maybe the fact that only 7 entered is a testament to the level of competitors.

Congrats to Jeff S and company; I believe that they worked pretty hard to get that trophy and bragging rights.

I agree, unless you compare cost, I can build a customer Ultima GTR for less than a Crate Camaro.
As far as turnout, I couldn't understand the lack of cars either. The Z2Z is held Friday, most don't show up til Saturday. It was cold and snow was in the forecast. There were 39-40mph cross winds.
There were tons more cars in the High Noon Shootout on Sat, same exact deal except you don't need to stomp on the brakes, maybe everyones afraid of stomping on the brakes at near 200?

The problem was a bad cam sensor. I had it on the chassis dyno this week, couldn't get it to stop smoking the tires when it hit boost.
The car will be at SEMA in Hahn Racecraft's booth.
Thanks

Smoking the tires is a fun problem to have. Maybe a little VHT on the rollers? Dyno guy would love that. Congrats on fixing the problem. Now... how about a little hook-up on tickets for SEMA?

Oct 14 is another RSD at Union Grove. Bring the Ultima and the T/A and I will bring my car. I wanna see what that thing will run in the cold air up there. And BTW get some sleep man! Posting at 2am, no wonder your tired!
