Very nice indeed. Love that color, hope it goes quick and comes out just like the rendering.....

I started out with quarters and tail panel from Classic Ind. They fit lousy I spent way too much time on those pieces of crap and then ordered some AMD parts. Much better fit, crisper lines, door gaps are very good already. Got a little work to do with the gap to the Anvil deck lid. The Anvil parts are of course very nice.

Car looks great and ditto on the crappy parts. I ended up finding NOS parts and some original parts (have more stuffed in my warehouse) because trying to get the aftermarket stuff to line up sucked.

Thanks Marty! Yeah most of the repro stuff is junk. I was very surprised at how good the AMD stuff was. I used OER quarters on my 69 and they fit very well too.

Those last pics show a pretty good view of the adjustable body cart that my son Taylor and I built. Here's a closer view

Close up of the slider pieces.

Taylor cut these out on his water jet. He's got a water jet and fabricating business that he operates in the same building as my "toy" shop. He also does all of my welding for me because he laughs when I try :

Great color choice, progress and really like the sliders for the cart. What made you decide to stick with 12 bolt vs 9"?

Steve if it not to late now would be a good time to do the outer wheel house modification to give you a little extra room when the car squats down and rubs the outside of the tire.

Vince if you have a picture of what I am talking about can you please post it as I can't seem to find it.

ps Vince I think you were the one that posted it for me once before.

Thanks a lot Jay. I haven't ordered the 12 bolt yet because of the reason in the post above. ie "I can't make up my damn mind" lol.
I am starting to lean towards the 9" more and more even though I've always been one of those "ain't gonna be no ford parts in my car" guys.
What do you think on the 12 bolt vs 9". Just under 700hp and the plan is lots of track days.
