Sorry to see you found some hidden issues. We all know it'll be done 110% the right way when you're done with it.

Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.

There are some real bondo artists. When I first striped my car 13 years ago one of the original fenders looked mint. Then I found out after getting it to bare metal that a 1/4 of the fender was filler! Never could tell with paint on it. You are correct in saying they all are hiding something....but they all can be fixed.

It's not a big deal and I expected something. We all hope it will be that it will be perfect, but they never are. It'll be good to go in no time!

Talking

So I'm sitting here in Africa, and had plenty of time to read this entire thread. All caught up.

Not surprised about the windshield rust, luckily that is an easy/cheap fix on that area. My first red '69 project had the same issue. The hidden stuff beneath the paint seems awfully familiar, oh yeah my car was like that. Hahaha

I was kidding with my body guy a couple weeks ago, after having gone through this same thing as you are. I should have just bought a Dynacorn body to begin with. Doh!

Looking forward to the updates. If that were my car, I'd keep it white. Very few clean bright white (not Dover white) Camaros out there.
