Cool project.

I am dying to see some specs on a Nascar based motor that idles at a grand, has great low end and pulls to 9000.

Trust me. I am too. The engineering that they are putting in to this motor is incredible. I will update on the build tomorrow.

Welcome to the site. Sounds like it's going to be a great build. Good luck!

Back from the blaster.

They are never as clean as you hope but this one is still pretty solid. It had not been registered since 71 and is still a california black plate car (which we intend to keep it that way). Must of been hit in the late 60's and had a quarter slapped on it. we will be replacing the damaged sheet metal as we go.

Getting the quarter repair fixed correctly. Cut out the overlap section and metal finished a piece in place. started filling the fuel cap on the new rear panel and found a new home for the fuel cap
