Hey guys just a quick follow-up but I found a difference in the PWM module plug. I order 2ea of the P/N 478-9440101 and I still have the plug I got directly from ITT P/N 9440101, see the pics

There’s a restriction I circled in red that didn’t work with the PWM module, there’s a plastic piece protruding out in between the electrical connectors of the PWM module. There’s one on the other side also but there’s not a restriction on that side of the plug..See pic

If you guys have gotten this plug to work on your PWM module then maybe I got a different version off of ebay….?? By the way the small terminals ITT referenced in my quote didn’t work….as Andrew suggested earlier. Ordered the ones Andrew mentioned, should get them tomorrow.

should've mentioned for clarity the small red circles only identifies some differences it didn't affect how it fit.

I just want to clarify the above picture, and hopefully it doesn't lead to further confusion, but here it goes.

The connector on the left is technically PN 9440102, however vendors such as Mouser list it as being the same as PN 9440101. The 478 prefix is added by Mouser and indicates the manufacturer, in this case Kostal.

Ideally, you would use PN 9440102, but PN 9440101 works as well, if the oval circled cavity is hollowed out.

This information is straight from the Kostal blueprint, which is accessible through Mouser.

Thanks for clarifying guys. I was hoping to have ordered and received all of the parts and did a write-up on it, but I got sidetracked.

I went into the controller with a needle nose pliers and just twisted the plastic pin out. Connector fits without modification

Old66Tiger, Andrew, et al. I wanted to say thanks for sharing these part numbers. I can't tell you how many hours I spent scouring the internet for them before giving up (this was before this thread). I owe you guys a beer

Thank Bob for the heavy lifting. I was the one that managed to track down the little terminal for the PWM signal cavity.

I would like to add my thanks to those who are responsible for getting the part numbers for the necessary connectors for the PWM module.
FWIW, I was doing some perusing and ran across this:
http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo....1432165&jsn=10
It is a PWM module with wiring harness from Rock Auto.
