i wonder what the hose let go? is that ptfe hose? makes me wonder cuz i just put a power setup in my fury and used ptfe hose and hope it doesn't happen to me also.car looks great btw

I made a rookie mistake and didn't use PTFE hose the first time but this time it is. I think your safe, I was worried about the hose first time I assembled it but wanted it to match all the other hoses and took a gamble... And as can tell the gamble didn't pay off. The PTFE hose I used has a black plastic coating so is close enough.

if you want black nylon braid ptfe its hard to find but aeroflow has it but they are in australia.took 3 weeks to get mine but i don't like the rubber coated look.

Thanks for the info. I'm ok with the look since its only about 10" long and tucked down low and barely visible. As long as it doesn't blow apart again I'll be happy.

Consider using hydraulic hose with crimped JIC fittings.

That was my initial thought for the replacement hose then I saw the PTFE with a burst strength of 2500PSI and thought I'd give that a try. The original hose was the nylon braid and after some research found that it is only good to 350PSI.
