Yea not too crazy and definitely less expensive than flush mount. I think it's a nice middle ground solution.

Thanks, It's slowly getting there. Going to dial back the progress a bit i think. Been burning myself out last few weeks as it's getting close and see some quality slipping and fatigue setting in between normal job and this. I'll push on it, just not the same pace I have been...

Some progress and some revelations I think.

Rear bumper installed.

Got the hood installed and cut it for the aerocatch hood latch installation with some help of friends.

No turning back now!

Got the grille installed also. Still have to get the headlight buckets trimmed, painted and installed to finish that up. Front end has some fitment issues but nothing I can do about it. All goes back to some of the fab work on the car.

Still working on getting the front bumper on, but that will be another day.

Got the ride height setup (tall) so I can drive around without rubbing fenders, so far so good on that front. Will work it back down after i get a few more things sorted. (Dont mind the rear bumper pointing down, didn't realize it needed to be adjusted at that time, I will get it sorted in the coming days. Got the horn working too. No pics of that as nothing to see, and video not uploaded. It's comically loud!

After getting this stuff together, I decided to take it around the block and hit up a straight wide section. Car saw 6-6500 and 9psi boost. I think it's fair to say, I will likely be dropping the spring in it and planning to start out a little slower. Walk before you can run situation. Car feels unruly at low speed. It hooked but just a little too violent for me to learn with. Hoping to get it more road legal and put some miles on it next weekend.

since you have a painted tailpan and non color matching spoiler i wonder how it would look with the trunk lid area painted in between those two parts? Do you have any wrapping laying around to see what it would look like? Black painters tape maybe? thoughts?

That's actually a pretty good idea. Prob will be the edges. Not sure how to make a clean break. May take some vinyl and see how it looks though.
