Man, this car has been in the paint jail longer than mine. Mine went in Jan 16. Supposed to finally get paint on the body monday... When mine went in, 90% of the metal repair was done.
Paint work is brutal. I think it will turn out great, but I don't understand why these guys move so slow.

Probably could've got $1750 if he waited until it was painted....
Here's to hoping you get a great Christmas update,

Not sold, just giving Curtis a hard time...
4 months is nothing, you should check out Daves build. It's a build guide on what not to do...or, how to launder money in the car world....maybe better to read it backwards...with whiskey.

Sorry it's slow going right now on Curtis car, but remember guys these cars, Curtis, Charlie, Brent....there being done.....after 5:00.....after dinner, after yard work, after house work, and of course like all of us have to ...after the ..honey do list is done....most of the work is done late nite...and I mean from 8 to 1 in the morning, with the alarm clock going off at 5:15 am...plus like I told Curtis..everybody wants paint now....those who don't do the work don't realize all the solvents put down while blocking and priming over and over....plus the solvent in the sealer and clear....this stuff needs time to dry..air out...unless you can afford a 20 grand heat lamp....it would be nice to do them faster, means gettin paid faster....but keep the owner updated and lots of progress pics...and GOOD WORK.....extra time is ok....as soon as we can find the Right color paint will flow...merry Christmas everybody.....jim

Apparently everyone wants to know what you're doing. Once you're done with the car this thread won't get any attention.

Doh! I feel like dad just walked in now I'm in trouble... Jim, I get it and realize the time involved to do what you do, I'm sure your customers do as well....That's all that matters.
Curtis, I'll be paying attention after its painted...I'm really starting to enjoy these Camaro "kit car" builds.
