Yep it's a Ford. It'll be all GM drivetrain underneath though so we're doing our part to unite the world in friendship and tolerance. Lol!

I was informed today that it may not be a '56. I asked the owner but he wasn't sure, he's still waiting on the title. When I googled 56 F100 I found some pics with this somewhat unique grill so I based the suggested year off that. Anyone savvy with these trucks and know the differences between the different 50's models? Might be some good trivia conversation as I work out the rendering details.

Yes the wheels likely were. Now folks would probably say they look like..., well you know.

You can see a 56 from space once you know what you are looking for. The windshield wraps around the A pillar and the vent windows are rectangular instead of triangular. There is also a small and big back window version of that one year only cab.

That truck appears to be a '54.

Here is a 56 with nearly as awesome wheels.

The best part about those wheels... aluminum recycles.

Well we've got the old boy torn down and ready for media blasting. So far looks like not too much rust and body work to deal with, however we all know the media blaster doesn't lie so we're keeping our fingers crossed.

Included in these pics are a focus on where body mods will be taking place. We have more photos on our webpage photo gallery, Click Here ---> Bentley's 55 F100

Back to work on the F100! First off I've wrapped up the rendering. Bentley wanted a look that says pro-touring but with a little bit of Dub City Diecast look to it. The body lines on this thing are like the everlasting rolling hills of Indiana and really needs something more than a single color to break things up. As many of these trucks have been done multi-tone paint was in order but we wanted to steer clear of the common separate the colors with a heartbeat swoosh stripe on the door. Packing a Speedtech ExtReme chassis our design concept needs to visually stand out so it hits a little different chord by combining charcoal grey, silver, and a really cool shade of BMW blue. That amazing suspension and drivetrain along with a wicked stance, super wide tires and some minor custom body mods it'll for sure be unique from the parked in the grass show car scene.
