Agreed with Randy

Behind engine, but alot of care and attention to measuring, engine placement and rear vac port of intake manifold
tape off firewall and lay it all out, then verify and interior conflicts (ie ac/ heater box, ducting, etc, etc) prior to punching any hole in it

That has to be installed on the harness during the building of harness, unless you "cut/ split them" length wise, but they dont seat or seal well sometimes when you do that

Correct. They have to be split and will seal fine. This is the same grommet that Speartech sells. I posted the mouser link and Delphi part number to give the OP an alternative way of getting it quicker.

Split it and it will seal fine.

I have used the grommets from Seals-it with great luck ( use in the offroad world that I deal with also)

just a example, they are available in numerous sizes (I.D. & O.D.)
