Group B is point byes at certain areas. Great group of guys with
Safety and fun the main focus. They have only have had one accident

Involved with

I'll bet we had 6 or 7 wrecks at Sonoma mini Nats this year. Most in turn 7. And I know two of them were totaled late models.

Bob. Is that a membership only group or open to new participants?

None of the wrecks involved Orange cars.

Jeez, I was there that day. Wasn't this in the wall in like the first five minutes of the first session?

Take time, Grasshopper--the non-race is not non-won in the first laps on a wet track . . .

It's really just a driver talent issue...... they remind everyone at the drivers meetings about "cold track" - "cold tires" - "cold you". About warming up the car - warming up the driver.... getting back in the saddle so to speak. There's no excuses for this kind of driving on a track day.

In the NASA drivers meeting -- Group 4 that Rob and I drove in -- they tell you straight up -- "you spin in this first session -- you're sitting out the next session". That's a warning to TAKE IT EASY and get in to the day without being "that guy".

Default Welds mustang

When I went to Texas World Speedway it rained all night
so at the Drivers meeting they said go easy as it was wet in places
and if you go off track it will be an effort to get you out

First session was the instructors and 3 minutes in one of them
buried his car deep in the mud. Then next session our local
Pantera guy runs out of gas on the high bank. What a way to start out

Bob
