HE’s going to get the car and all the parts needed to run for the weekend... at my shop at Thill — and bring it down for this event — you have no idea how big of a deal that is for me. My health has just gone to ST.....

A bunch of “us” will be there — it’s also Gwen’s Birthday on the 15th... so much wine will be consumed in wine country. 😂

Come out and watch the new girl run!!! It’s only $10 to get in... Find our encampment — we’re going to have a couple motorhomes and staying there at the track... It will most likely be the last time we’ll be able to see each other.
Sounds a lot like Sonoma, almost exactly 3 years ago! I still remember how much fun that weekend was, and I distinctly remember the corner workers trying to flag down Rob and I because we had some idiot waving his hands around out of the window!

The one undergoing aggressive herbal treatments, yelling “Weeeeeeeeee, and yeeeeee haaaaaa every time we crested a hill!

It wasn’t the idiot that brought a 241hp Mustang or the one that brought the super secret Fox that everyone knew about!

Because the Orange Krate was a bit of a handling handful at that time?

One thing I'll never forget about that trip is how the hair dryer powered PDK trans in your car would launch out of T2 into T3, major adrenaline rush!

I still grin every time I think about it.

That's right, now I remember the "variable camber" struts on Agent Orange.

I almost forgot about running laps in the 911! I should have turned the stability control off that weekend, we could have four wheel drifted through every corner! I did not, however, forget that driving the 911 up inspired Gwen to go get one... that very night!

You still had the original tires on the car...… fact.

Here's 2 phones Gwen working the deal on the 911 from the garage
