This thread has been a wealth of information so thanks to everyone for contributing.

I have a Terminator X Max ECU, C6 fan, and Dorman 902-310 relay (mopar relay). I have tried a few different frequencies and have settled on 128, but there is a pretty noisy buzz from the fan. At 50% duty the fan and buzz noises are about equal, but below 50% the buzz is a bit annoying. Does the C6 relay have the same buzz? Anyone think it’s the mix of the Dorman relay and the C6 fan creating the buzz?

The C6 fan controller makes zero noise. I have never used the Dodge controller.

Has anyone been able to find where to buy Spal brushless fans?

It's been next to impossible to even find any specs on them!

Thanks!

Default Fan Specs?

After reading roughly half of this thread the info is amazing and want to thank everyone that has taken the time to post. My problem is i can't find a definitive answer to the frequency question for the fan I want to use in my Hemi conversation into my 1984 Dodge ram. I am using the GM (spal written all over it) fan part number 23455465. See pic of fan can someone please give me the correct numbers for controlling this fan? Also the mating plug that is needed. Thanks in advance.
