So how far are you going to dig into this to see what else might not be done as nice as you had hoped

When I purchased the car the heating and air system was less then great and I knew it needed upgrading. With everything else I'm doing I just figured it was the best move to go ahead and strip it down a little further and swap out the cheap stuff for the good stuff. Once the clip was off it was plainly obvious that the work done to the car was less then great.

At this point I have basically redone at least 80 percent of the car and with the decision to repaint it as well leaves pretty much the entire car being redone. At the end of the day being without it while I'm doing all of this sucks but the end result will be way worth it.

Slowly moving forward here. Now that the front clip has been removed as well as the less then great A/C system I moved to swapping out the 4l60 for a Zerogravity built stage 2 6l80. With the new trans mounted up to the engine I was able to set it and do some cutting. I also bought a nice firewall cover that I think is going to seriously clean up the crappy mess I had before.
