Yeah I'm still dealing with my noise....see my other post in the transmission section..

My noise is with the clutch OUT....in neutral at idle...... which seems to be the opposite of what others are having.... makes no sense since the assembly should be clamped together.... the discs and the plate shouldn't be able to move around and rattle or knock

I had the entire assembly balanced by a local machine shop, so now I'm concerned they screwed it up....

I can rev the motor pretty high and don't seem to have a vibration.... its really hard to tell if the noise is there since the motor is loud and the bell is right by the headers etc

Same noise with my built T56 magnum. I have read the noise in neutral with the clutch out is common and normal.

Everything I have read, its clutch IN where it has a tendency to rattle, since the disc and intermediate plate is not compressed against the flywheel, so it has some play in it...

Reached out to Craig Meyer at Bowler again and he is also going to reach out to his contact at McLeod and see what they have to say....

Drove the car today...shifts fine, no noticeable vibration (only went up to around 35 mph since I have some other things to sort out first)...cant hear any rattle or knock but the car is loud and has no interior or windows, so at speed its pretty loud..... cant be sure it isnt there at speed in gear etc

My buddy just put an RXT in his coyote swapped fox and T56, no issues so far, he literally just did it this weekend, has about 120 miles on it so far...

CJ
Interesting.... I had not found posts about the T56 actually being the source of the noise.... everything I found talked about the MC dual clutch being the source.... but with the clutch pushed in...
Something else to look into.....
