First time using it and I hope it works. The good news is this surface won't see any weather so it should hold up quite well.

Default Sometimes you just need an Easy project (05-21-22)

This should be a simple project. If and when I have to drain the radiator I would love to be able to put a hose on the drain so I picked up a couple of these at Advance Auto.

I am finally going through all of the nuts and bolts and making sure everything is final tight.

More notes

I have had this ratchetting open end wrench set for years and it still comes in handy.

Mocking up the lines on the Vintage Air

I ran the lines in two different colors so I can quickly tell which is which when I am laying under the dash.

I finally found battery terminal covers that will actually work.

I was even able to find a suitable location for the optima battery charge wires.

Alternator wire cover.

Have you ever had any problems with either of those radiator drain cocks getting seized together and not opening?

I was thinking the same thing. I’d dab some anti size on both threads.

Goose daddy,
Great find on the terminal covers. Do you know of any for the battery bulkheads ?

I used the Oatey teflon tape on the threads and normally that works good.
